Methodology
Operators connect their Meta ad accounts read-only (ads_read). We pull daily account-level spend and purchase value from the Meta Insights API — never creatives, audiences or customer data.
Lift since takeover
For each account we compare ROAS in the 90 days before the operator took over with ROAS in a 90-day window starting 30 days after takeover (the first 30 days are a ramp period and excluded). Lift = after ROAS ÷ before ROAS − 1.
Eligibility
- At least 120 days since takeover.
- At least 60 days with spend in the 90 days before takeover, and at least $15k spend in that window.
- At least $30k spend ($10k/month) in the performance window.
Ranking
Operators are ranked by spend-weighted average lift across eligible accounts (individual lifts are capped between −90% and +300% to limit outliers), with ties broken by spend managed. Paid plans never affect rank.
Takeover dates
Operators enter the date they took over. Where Meta's account activity log shows their first change within 14 days of that date, we mark it ✓ verified; otherwise it's labeled self-reported.
Coverage
Coverage shows what share of all spend the operator can access is included, so cherry-picking is visible.
Limitations
- Purchase value is reported by Meta and depends on attribution settings.
- Seasonality can affect before/after comparisons.
- The brand's product, pricing and creative also affect results.
